The Curator

(Participant)
Theo Markham
(Logline: Based on a True Story)
In a city where art is both a weapon and a sanctuary, a brilliant curator must navigate a labyrinth of political intrigue and personal stakes to awaken a dormant public consciousness, challenging the very fabric of society.
(Character Outline)
🎨 The Curator was once a teenage guerrilla installer, slipping small unauthorized artworks into public spaces and museums until a city crackdown nearly resulted in arrest. That early collision with authority shaped his belief that exhibitions can function as civic interventions. Now operating inside institutions he once distrusted, he navigates critique and complicity. In the film, he prepares a controversial exhibition that mirrors the larger themes of authorship, collaboration, and power. He may be pressured to remove a politically volatile work. Alternatively, he may be orchestrating the ensemble itself as part of a conceptual gesture that only gradually becomes visible.
