The Poet

(Participant)
Talia Bloom
(Logline: Based on a True Story)
An agency (legal corporate personhood) finds itself caught in an unstable love triangle with the thing itself and representations of the thing. They run in circles in opposite directions, or spiral toward abstraction. To break the cycle they script a linear continuity design mission, running forward against the countdown to madness.
(Character Outline)
🌀 The Poet once published a slim volume that developed a cult following online before withdrawing from public life. She is fascinated by repetition and writes variations of the same stanza for years. In the film, her voiceovers may punctuate scenes, blurring interior and exterior realities. She could be secretly writing about the other characters, transforming real events into myth. Alternatively, she may be the only one who senses that the narrative is spiraling rather than progressing.
