A.2 | EP.6 | Morphologies

(Narrative Arc | Logline)

Metamorphosis / Circular transformation | A fragment of an abstract painting by Sol Axiom (The Pioneers) travels through design, architecture, and mass production. King Rivers (The Actor) carries it into digital circulation, while Elia Root (The Muse) encounters its changing forms. It returns to the studio as an everyday object, where its transformation begins again.
(ACt 1)

Sol dismantles a painting into fragments, each retaining traces of its original composition. Elia turns a piece in her hands, finding an orientation Sol had not considered. King photographs it that way. On screen, the fragment fills the frame.
(Plot Point 1)
King repeats the image across a digital surface. Its cut edges meet, producing a pattern none of them had intended. The pattern enters an industrial design process, where the irregularities of the painted surface become reproducible details.
(Act 2)
The pattern spreads across furniture, architecture, advertisements, and digital environments, continually changing scale and function. King adapts it to new formats while Sol continues working with the remaining fragments. Elia moves through spaces carrying the image, sometimes recognizing it, sometimes passing without noticing. What once occupied a small part of a painting now covers a wall.
(Plot Point 2)
Sol notices a familiar shape on an everyday object Elia is using. He turns it in his hands until the composition aligns with his memory. King finds the earlier photograph. The resemblance is unmistakable, though the color, scale, and material have changed. Sol brings the object back to the studio.
(Act 3)
The object becomes material for another painting. Sol works across its printed surface, leaving parts of the pattern visible. Elia turns it toward the light while King prepares another photograph. The original and its derivatives exchange places, and the transformation begins again.
